Read individual responses
The Responses tab on a survey and a campaign: each answer with its score, sentiment, themes and references, and how to filter, open and export them.

Where to find them
Open a survey and choose its Responses tab, or open a campaign and choose Responses for the answers that came in through that campaign alone. Each row is one response, newest first.
Admins read individual responses, and so do Editors who see the whole organization. An Editor whose results cover a reporting line is told so, and reads the survey's results as totals on its Results tab.
What each row shows
- Respondent. The person's name and email, or Anonymous when the answer is not linked to anyone.
- References. One column for each hidden field of the survey, with the value the link carried. Hidden on a phone.
- Score. The response's score, from 0 to 100. It reads Scoring… while Polzy works on it, and Not scored when it could not. A response with no scored question has none.
- Sentiment. Positive, neutral, negative or mixed, as the open answers read.
- Themes and keywords. The two lowest-scoring themes the response touched and two of its keywords, with a count of the rest.
- Status and Submitted. Completed, in progress or abandoned, and the day it was given.
Sentiment, themes and keywords come from AI analysis (Solo and up). Polzy reads each response as it arrives. How themes are scored has the detail.
Filter, sort and search
Above the list, choose All, Negative, Positive, Neutral or Mixed to see one sentiment. Status narrows it to completed, in progress or abandoned answers. The search finds a name, an email, the words of an answer or a reference.
Click Score or Submitted at the top of the list to sort by it; click again to turn the order round.
Open a response
Click a row to open the response beside the list: every answer, the follow-up questions Polzy asked and what was said, the score for each theme, and the response's details. Admins can delete a response from its row; its score and insights go with it.
On a survey's tab, admins can also click Export CSV: a file of every completed response to the survey, one column per question, with times in the workspace's time zone. A campaign's tab has no export of its own, because the file is always the whole survey's.
Anonymous answers
An anonymous answer is never named. It is listed as Anonymous with the day it was given and no exact time, after the named ones, or by its score alone when you sort by score. Opening one shows what was said, never who said it.
When fewer people than the workspace's minimum group size answered anonymously in the list as you have narrowed it, by campaign, search or filter, those answers are not listed, and a line under the list says how many. The export leaves them out by the same rule.
Narrowing the list cannot single out an anonymous answer: the minimum group size is applied on the server, to the set you are looking at. How the minimum group size works.
