Create with Ask Polzy
Describe a survey, campaign, workflow or report, or start from an idea. Polzy asks what it needs, makes the draft and opens it in the builder.
On this page
Where to find it
Press Ask Polzy in the top bar — or ⌘J on a Mac, Ctrl+J elsewhere — and Ask Polzy opens full screen over the page you are on, ready to create. The button on each list opens the same full-screen view already set to that kind, without leaving the list:
- Surveys. Create with Polzy.
- Campaigns. Create with Polzy.
- Workflows. Build with Polzy.
- Reports. Draft with Polzy.
The top-bar button always starts a new conversation full screen, builders included; press it again to close. Inside a builder — a survey, campaign, workflow or report you are editing — the builder's own Ask Polzy button opens the chat beside it instead, on the chat that made that record when there is one.
Tell Polzy what to make
Say what you want: a survey, a campaign, a workflow or a report. The context bar above the box shows what Polzy is set to make; × clears it, and Polzy works out the kind from what you write. Type @ to point at a survey or campaign. Enter sends; Shift+Enter starts a new line.
Start from an idea
Under the box are ideas for each kind — All, Surveys, Campaigns, Workflows and Reports — each with a small picture of what it makes. Choosing one puts its prompt in the box for you to edit; nothing is sent until you press Enter. Browse all shows every idea, and New conversation brings the ideas back when you are in a chat.
Some ideas are locked, and say why: a higher plan, which they name; a channel or connector to connect first; not enough answers yet; or only admins can create.
Auto or Ask first
Ask first proposes each change for you to approve. Auto builds a survey or a report straight away; a campaign or a workflow is still proposed for you to approve first, because it reaches people or systems outside Polzy. The month's token use is shown under the box.
Either way, Polzy only makes drafts. It never publishes a survey, launches a campaign, switches a workflow on or sends a report — that stays with you, in the builder.
The conversation
- Polzy asks what it needs, one question at a time, often with choices you can tap.
- When the draft exists, it says "Opening the … builder" ("Opening the report" for a report), closes the full-screen view and opens the builder, or the report.
- The same conversation carries on in the side panel beside the builder, so you can keep refining the draft there.
Recent chats
Under the ideas are your own chats; nobody else sees them. Show them by kind, search them, and lay them out as a list or a grid. Each one shows the status of what it made — draft, scheduled, live and so on.
Open a chat to carry on. A chat that made something opens its builder with the chat in the side panel; any other reopens full screen. From the ⋯ menu, rename a chat, duplicate what it made (surveys, campaigns and workflows), or delete it. When you show one kind, Start blank makes one without Polzy instead: an empty survey or campaign builder, a new empty workflow, or for reports the Reports list, where New report opens the form.
In the side panel
The list icon shows your past chats and the pencil starts a new one. Change view puts the same conversation where you want it: Floating, Sidebar or Full screen. In full screen, Esc takes you back to the builder that conversation made, or closes full screen when it made nothing.
Ask Polzy is part of your plan's AI. Creating is for admins; managers and members can still ask questions. When the month's AI tokens run out, the box is switched off and says how to get more.
Signed-in members can ask Polzy or message the team from Support. How fast we reply depends on your plan.
