What members see in Polzy

For Viewers: your dashboard, surveys to answer, the daily check-in, My feed, your actions, support and your own settings — and who can see your answers. Admins can send this page to their members.

Your organization uses Polzy to ask for your feedback and to act on it. You have been added as a member with the Viewer role. This page explains what you find when you sign in, what you can do there, and who sees what you say.

Admins: this page is written for your Viewers. Put its link in your welcome message, so people know what to expect before the first survey arrives.

Signing in

You received an invitation by email. Open its link, or go to app.polzy.ai/login, and sign in with your password, a sign-in link sent by email, Google or Microsoft — or your organization's single sign-on, if it uses one. Sign in and turn on two-step verification covers every way in, and how to protect your account.

Your menu is short: Dashboard, My feed, Actions where your workspace uses them, and Support — with your name at the bottom for your own settings.

Your dashboard

Dashboard is your own week, not the workspace's. Nobody else sees it.

Your dashboard: what is waiting for you today, four figures about you, and today's check-in.
  • The greeting says how many things are waiting for you today — or Nothing is waiting for you.
  • Four figures about you. Your check-in average and Response streak — every day you checked in during the last fortnight — when your workspace has the daily check-in; Surveys answered, out of those sent to you; and Open actions, with how many are waiting on you.
  • For you today. Surveys you have not answered, with how long they take and when they close, and actions that are overdue. Start or Continue opens a survey; Open opens an action.
  • How is today going? The daily check-in, when your workspace has it.
  • Worth a look and How you see things. Where your workspace has them: what Polzy noticed in the answers, and your own answers theme by theme, beside the workspace average.

Answering a survey

A survey opens in a new tab, from your invitation, your dashboard or My feed. Answer at your own pace: if you stop halfway, your dashboard shows how far you got, and Continue takes you back.

The survey says before you start whether your answers carry your name or nobody's. Answering a survey explains what a respondent sees, and how to ask for your answers to be deleted.

Results are only shown for groups of at least 5 people by default, so nobody can be singled out. Editors who read results for their team only ever see groups, never one person's answers. How the minimum group size works.

The daily check-in

When your workspace uses it, the dashboard asks How is today going? once a day. Pick a face from Rough to Great, add a note if you like, and click Send. The line under it says exactly who can see your answer. The daily check-in explains it in full.

My feed

My feed lists what is waiting on you, each item a shortcut to where it is dealt with.

  • To answer. Surveys you have not answered yet.
  • Your actions. Actions with your name on them.
  • Needs attention. Anything else that needs you.
  • Snooze until tomorrow. Puts an item away for the day; Bring back returns it. Opening an item puts it away too, until tomorrow if it still needs you.

Your actions

When your organization decides to do something about what people said, it becomes an action with an owner and a date. If you are the owner, it appears on Actions, on a board from Backlog to Done.

  • What you can do. Move your action to another column, tick off its checklist, add a note, and mark it done.
  • What you cannot do. Create an action, rename it, change its date or give it to somebody else. Ask an Admin or your Editor.

Getting help

Support is a direct line to the Polzy team. Under Contact the team, choose Question or Bug, describe what you need — paste a screenshot if it helps — and click Send. The reply comes by email, and Your requests shows what you have sent. For questions about your organization's surveys, ask the person who sent them. Getting help.

Your own settings

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose My profile. There you change your name, photo and phone number; your language, time zone and dark or light appearance; whether you Answer anonymously by default; and which emails and texts you receive. Your profile, preferences and notifications.

What you do not see

As a Viewer you do not see other people's answers, the workspace's results or analytics, how surveys are built or sent, settings, plans or prices. Ask Polzy, Polzy's assistant, is for the people who run the programme. None of this is hidden from you by mistake: it is how the role works.

Troubleshooting

I was told about a survey but cannot find it. — Look in My feed and on your dashboard. If it is not there, open the link in your invitation email: a survey shared by link may not be listed in Polzy.

The check-in card says it starts once the plan has room for another live survey. — Your workspace has reached its plan's limit on live surveys. Nothing to do on your side; an Admin can make room.

I want to change what a survey filed me under. — Your department or team comes from your workspace's people list or its HR system. Ask an Admin.
