Add a rule

  1. Open the question in the survey builder and switch to its Logic tab.
  2. Turn on Enable Conditional Logic.
  3. Click Add Condition, choose an earlier question and the answer it must match. Add more conditions and join them with AND or OR.

The question then reads "Shown when …", so you can check the rule at a glance.

What a rule can do

A rule shows a question when its conditions match, and hides it otherwise. A survey does not jump to another page or end early: everyone moves through the same questions, minus the ones their answers hide.

Keep logic simple. Every condition splits the answers, and a question few people see may stay below the minimum group size.
