Cancel, close your organization or export your data
Stop renewing, close the organization or delete a workspace — and take a copy of everything first.

Export everything
One zip holds everything your organization keeps: a folder per workspace with every survey's answers, the survey and campaign lists, the participants and the comments, plus a manifest.json that lists what is inside.
- Open Organization settings → General and find Export your data.
- Click Export all data. The zip is prepared in the background; you can leave the page.
- When it is ready you are told in the app and by email. Come back to the same place and click Download.
The owner's export covers every workspace of the organization; an admin's covers the workspaces they administer. One export of an organization is prepared at a time, and a finished one can be downloaded for 7 days — ask for a new one whenever you like.
Anonymous answers from fewer people than the workspace's minimum group size are left out of the file, as they are on every screen; the manifest says how many per survey. A file holds at most 100,000 rows: one that stops there is listed in the manifest under truncated, and the notice that the export is ready says so. The export keeps working while a workspace is read-only, closing or over its plan, and an admin of an account that has stopped can still ask for it from the screen shown instead of the app.
Export one person's data
When somebody asks for the data you hold on them, open their record — click their name in the people insights list — and click Export data. Everything the workspace holds on that person downloads as one JSON file. Only admins can do this, and each export is recorded in the audit log.
Cancel the subscription
- Open Organization settings → Billing.
- Under Renewal, click Cancel subscription, optionally say why, and confirm.
Everything keeps working until the end of the period already paid for, which is not refunded. Then the organization moves to the free plan: nothing is deleted, but whatever is above the free plan's limits is held — read-only, still open and exportable, its surveys take no answers and its campaigns send nothing. Until the period ends, Keep the plan undoes the cancellation.
Close the organization
Only the owner can close the organization, under Organization settings → General → Close the organization, by typing its name.
- The plan stops renewing at the end of the period already paid for, which is not refunded.
- Every workspace becomes read-only straight away, and every admin is emailed.
- After 14 days the workspaces and the organization are deleted for good. Issued invoices are kept for as long as the law requires.
Until then the owner can Reopen the organization from the same place, and nothing is lost. Export first if you want a copy.
Delete one workspace
An admin deletes a workspace under Settings → General → Danger zone → Delete workspace, by typing its name. It becomes read-only straight away, its admins are emailed, and after 14 days everything in it is deleted for good; Keep this workspace cancels it until then. The organization's only workspace cannot be deleted on its own — close the organization instead.
